As with every other country in the world, education is Cambodia’s number one investment for the future. If its citizens are denied the opportunity to grow, develop, learn, explore and create, they will become counter-productive and ineffective leaders of tomorrow’s society. Therefore, Cambodian students should be given every opportunity to pursue their educational ambitions in spite of the economic inability to afford the cost of education. In an effort to provide students with access to higher education, especially for those with insufficient resources, the D.K. Kim Cambodia Foundation has created an initiative to provide a minimum of US $100,000 annually, for the next 10 years, educational scholarship and financial assistance to Cambodian students seeking higher education.
